    Program Highlights:
    Embark on the Career Training program, an exchange visitor initiative to the United States, igniting cultural exchange and understanding. Created under the Mutual Education and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961, this program facilitates the interchange of knowledge and skills in education, arts, sciences, and business management.

    For Nigerian Students:
    This program provides an exciting chance for Nigerian students to engage in educational and cultural experiences in the United States. Under the Career Training category, participants can contribute their skills and experiences upon their return.

    To participate in this program, the applicant must be:

    1. Be between the ages of 18 and 28.
    2. Be a full time university student with at least one completed semester of postsecondary study to qualify for internship program.
    3. Must hold a degree or non-vocational, professional certificate from a college, university or other post-secondary academic institution of higher education outside the U.S. and at least 1 year of related professional experience from outside the U.S. OR; Have at least 5 years of related, full-time professional experience from outside the U.S to qualify for the Trainee Program.
    4. Demonstrate an intermediate level of English proficiency.
    5. Provide two references showcasing maturity and the ability to maximize program benefits.
    6. Submit medical and police reports, agreeing total background check.
    7. Present a copy of the "personal details" page of their international passport.
    8. Provide a valid email address for ongoing communication.
    9. Supply a school letter on official letterhead confirming current full time student status.
    10. Provide a parental consent letter verified by UCM global.
    11. ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AN EXISTING INTERNSHIP OFFER AND THIS OFFER MUST RELATE DIRECTLY TO YOUR OCCUPATIONAL FILE/WORK EXPERIENCE.
